The Network Administrator is responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing the organization's network infrastructure and related systems. This role ensures reliable and secure network operations, including LAN/WAN, firewalls, CCTV systems, and connectivity across all sites.
In addition, the role provides secondary technical support for hardware and end-user devices, ensuring overall IT service continuity. The position also plays a key role in implementing and supporting IT infrastructure improvements aligned with the company's IT roadmap.
Job Responsibilities
- Network Administration & Infrastructure
- Administer and maintain network infrastructure, including: LAN, WAN, and Wi-Fi networks and routers, switches, and access points
- Configure and manage network devices and services.
- Monitor network performance, availability, and security.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, outages, and connectivity problems.
- Ensure network reliability and minimal downtime across all locations.
- Maintain and update network documentation, diagrams, and configurations.
- Firewall, VPN & Security Systems
- Configure, manage, and monitor firewall systems
- Implement and maintain network security policies and access controls.
- Manage and support VPN connections for secure remote access
- Monitor network traffic and identify potential security threats or vulnerabilities.
- Coordinate with vendors for advanced firewall or security configurations when needed.
- CCTV & Physical Security Systems
- Manage and monitor CCTV systems, including:
- Camera functionality and recording systems
- Storage and playback systems
- Troubleshoot and coordinate maintenance of CCTV hardware and software.
- Work with vendors for installation, upgrades, and repairs.
- Security, Compliance & IT Roadmap Execution
- Ensure compliance with IT security policies and best practices.
- Implement and support infrastructure improvements, including network upgrades and security enhancements
- Participate in the execution of the company's IT roadmap, including VPN expansion, network segmentation and Infrastructure scalability
- Identify opportunities to improve network performance, security, and reliability.
- IT Support
- Provide technical support for PCs, laptops, printers, and other peripherals when required
- Assist users with basic hardware and connectivity issues
- Support onboarding and offboarding (device setup and basic access configuration)
- Escalate complex user issues to appropriate teams or vendors
