.Net Developer

Role description:

As a .Net Developer you will join our Market Operations technology team that delivers system solutions catering to all businesses in the Bank.

You will be part of a team that develops and supports business critical Margining and Collateral management, and Portfolio Reconciliation systems.

This technical role will span a number of technologies, from customizing our in-house system written in C# with a variety of different databases, maintaining existing microservices, to supporting our migration to the cloud.

Skills required:

-Programming (Object-oriented languages such as C# or Java)

-Critical and analytical thinking

-Ability to communicate effectively at all levels

-Self-starter able to work with minimal guidance.

Experience gained:

You will gain experience in the following areas:

- Knowledge of banking and post-trade functions within Macquarie

- Full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to production release

- Programming in C#, SQL, and databases

- Kubernetes and cloud technologies

- Quality assurance, including testing and working with QA team members

- Software development best practices
