DUTIES AND RESPONBILITIES:
1. Collection Achievement
To reach the collection target of the Pharma Division through the collection force by: Ensuring full implementation of the Collection Call System (Master Coverage Plan, (WITAR) Weekly Itinerary and Activity Report, (BACOPRO) Basic Collection Procedure). Allocating collection targets by DM, SR Analyzing the collection To conduct fieldwork at least 10 working days in a month (5 days in GMA, 5 days in provincial territories) with a DM and an ARR by focusing on problematic/priority areas.
2. Coordination with Principal/MDI Logistics
Principal
To coordinate collection activities with principals, esp. for accounts under GAs, unserved principal commitments, etc.
To have the minutes/agreements of principal meetings which concerns division and to be submitted to VP-Sales and copy to principal.
To take action and follow-up all agreements
MDI Logistics & Sales Coordinate with Logistics (Customer Service, SSCs and Distribution) and Sales Division whenever problems (eg. outstanding accounts, hanging balances, deliveries, customer-related) occur and can only be solved with the cooperation of MDI Logistics and Sales.
3. Credit Management
To study, analyze and recommend and implement ways and means to:
Build up company image and maintain good relationship with customers
Spearhead collection efforts especially to overdue and legal accounts
Recommend appropriate credit line and credit terms of customers Re
view and ensure correctness of information in the CAF
4. Collection Plan
To develop and recommend collection plan to VP-Sales
To implement, control such plans
5. Training and Development
To evaluate the performance of the collection force To schedule and conduct training for collection force such as conflict management, handling objection, negotiation skills, credit and collection management
6. Collection Force Effectiveness
To motivate the collection force
To build up morale and positive attitude of collection force
7. Personnel Management
To assist the HRD in the selection, hiring and training of new ARRs and DMs
To advise VP-Sales and HRD on disciplinary actions, termination of ARRs and DMs
To appraise DMs and ARRs
8. Opex
To achieve the collection target of the Pharma Division within the approved expense budget
9. Reports
To submit the following reports on time or ahead of deadlines
Monthly Collection Performance Reports
Monthly Workplan Field Activity Report
DM/SR/ARR Contact/Coordination Report
10. Miscellaneous
Performs other duties that may be assigned by the immediate superior from time to time or as requested by the principal.
EDUCATION REQUIRED
Graduate of any business-related course from a reputable college or university. Preferably, with MBA units.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
At least 5 years experience in the same capacity.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENT
1. Must possess thorough knowledge of all aspects of operations in the area of sales and collection.
2. Must have keen business sense and people management skills.
3. Must have basic knowledge of the functions of the different sales support groups within the company.
4. Must possess effective oral and written communication skills.
5. Must have good analytical and decision-making skills.
6. Must be able to relate well with internal and external clients. 7. Must be proactive, innovative and open-minded. 8. Must be computer literate.
