Job Description

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Perform general maintenance, repairs, and minor installations across different trades (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and mechanical works).
  • Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify and address maintenance needs.
  • Respond promptly to tenant or staff requests for repair and maintenance services.
  • Carry out preventive maintenance tasks to ensure proper functioning of building systems and assets.
  • Assist specialist technicians (plumbers, electricians, HVAC technicians) with more complex repair and installation work.
  • Maintain accurate service reports, maintenance logs, and documentation of work performed.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, property policies, and local building codes.
  • Manage tools, equipment, and materials effectively, requesting replenishment when necessary.
  • Provide support during property renovations, upgrades, and fit-outs.
  • Deliver excellent customer service to tenants, occupants, and stakeholders by addressing maintenance issues efficiently.

Qualifications, Skills And Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Technical/Vocational Certificate in Building Maintenance, Property Services, or related field.
  • At least 23 years of relevant work experience as a technician in property services, facilities, or construction.
  • Hands-on knowledge in at least two trades (e.g., electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, or HVAC).
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
  • Flexibility to work on-call shifts or attend to emergency repairs when needed.
