The Motorpool Engineer is responsible for maintaining and planning of efficient schedules of all company vehicles and stationary equipment.

  • Supervises team members to ensure that duties and responsibilities are carried out accordingly:
  • Schedules and monitors daily activities of TMs;
  • Conducts scheduled Performance Appraisal;
  • Approves DTR, Overtime, and VL/SL application of TMs;
  • Responsible for the professional well-being of TMs
  • Report and monitoring of vehicle tracker & dashcam
  • Ensures that company vehicles and stationary equipment are on top operating condition:
  • Implements and ensures prompt and proper execution of Preventive Maintenance Schedules (PMS) of all company vehicles;
  • Prepares requisitions for needed vehicle and stationary parts
  • Prepares and implements approved Motorpool Department's OPEX and CAPEX budgets.
  • Ensures proper scheduling of trips and issuance of fuel and oil withdrawals:
  • Schedules/monitors/issues trip tickets for all company vehicles;
  • Issues/monitors fuel and oil withdrawals and ensure on time payment of such transactions
  • Prepares monthly vehicle performance reports and monitor Fleet Management Systems (Geotab/Webscast)
  • Handles registration/licensing of vehicles, insurance coverage and claims for vehicle damages (if any).
  • Evaluates and assess service vehicle providers and recommends approval of accreditation to 1RE Admin Manager.

Other Related Tasks

  • Evaluates performance of subordinates on a periodic basis to determine performance level and areas for improvement Complies with company policies and procedures, safety rules and practices.
  • Conforms to the company's Integrated Management Systems, policies, standards, procedures and guidelines.
  • Reports any Integrated Management System events/incidents or potential events or other risks to the organization.
  • Protects information assets from unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, destruction or interference by:
  • Ensuring the confidentiality of all data, information and other matters which are private, sensitive or confidential in nature or the exposure of which to other employees, persons, entities or organizations constitutes conflict of interest with and/or poses liability or damage to the Company.
  • Performs any other related duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time by immediate superior consistent with the purpose of this role.
