Motion Graphic Designer | Philippines
We are looking for an experienced Motion Graphic Designer to help bring engaging and impactful animations to life across digital platforms for a range of interesting client projects/brands.
This role will need to have a passion for creating beautiful campaigns, animations, video, and virtual storytelling within the digital space with an emphasis on what works best to engage, nurture, and drive greater value for the end customer via all social and digital platforms.
It also requires excellent English verbal and written communication skills and the ability to pitch creative concepts and to take direction while working closely with the rest of the Creative Hub and the Digital Agency Team.

What the role entails:
1. Creative & Concept Development
- Translate brand and campaign messaging into compelling visual motion narratives
- Develop storyboards, animatics, and mood boards to support creative concepts
- Present creative concepts to Head Designer and Account Managers
- Craft compelling visual stories, including strong hooks, clear CTAs, and engaging motion narratives
2. Motion Design & Production
- Design motion graphics, animated explainers, social media animations, branded content, and video assets
- Apply motion design fundamentals such as timing and easing, composition, typography, visual hierarchy, and camera/depth techniques (including parallax and 2.5D)
- Demonstrate strong editing craft with a focus on story pacing, viewer retention, sound design, music licensing, and voice-over synchronization
- Execute advanced compositing and VFX tasks including keying, rotoscoping, motion tracking, cleanup work, screen replacements, and color correction
- Apply visual effects, transitions, and motion tracking to elevate video content
- Apply social media best practices, platform requirements, and ad formats in motion design outputs
3. Project & Workflow Management
- Strong management of multiple client deliverables/work from concept through production to final delivery
- Strong creative systems and file keeping
- Develop and maintain reusable animation systems and templates (e.g., lower-thirds, transitions, motion libraries) to improve production efficiency
What we're looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Animation, Multimedia, or a related field
- At least five (5) years of experience in motion graphics design
- Experience in an advertising agency or handling multiple brands/clients simultaneously is a strong advantage
- Strong portfolio showcasing direct contribution and completed deliverable for real clients, particularly published on social media
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, especially After Effects (including expressions, templates, Trapcode/Particular), Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Media Encoder; basic knowledge of Audition
- Experience using AI-assisted creative tools (e.g., Gemini, RunwayML, Midjourney, VEO3, Freepik) is an advantage
- Experience with DaVinci Resolve for color grading and finishing
- Experience in 3D animation using Cinema 4D or Blender, with understanding of rendering engines (plus)
- Proficiency in collaborative tools such as Frame.io, Google Drive, Dropbox, Asana, Jira, Notion, and Slack
- Understanding of video formats, delivery specs, platform-safe areas, subtitles, and loudness standards
- Familiarity with video encoding formats and color management
- Experience with localisation workflows (editable text layers, RTL support, font fallback, subtitles)
- Knowledge of web/interactive animation tools is a plus
- Versatile design range across kinetic typography, iconography, product UI showcases, data visualization, explainer videos, and brand animations
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Flexible, proactive, and able to thrive in fast-paced, agile environments
The role is full-time, 5 days working remotely, and following Sydney, Australia timezone/work hours. There will be a few team face to face days in Metro Manila each year.
