Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in General Santos City for a Mother Baby Friendly Hospital Initiative Coordinator. The coordinator will be responsible for leading and overseeing the implementation of the Mother Baby Friendly Hospital Initiative (MBFHI) standards and practices. Responsibilities include developing and conducting training sessions, monitoring hospital compliance with MBFHI guidelines, coordinating with healthcare staff, and preparing reports and documentation. The role aims to promote maternal and newborn health by fostering best practices and meeting certification requirements.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of breastfeeding management, maternal and newborn health, and MBFHI principles
• Experience in healthcare training, team coordination, and policy implementation
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and advocacy
• Organizational and documentation skills to manage reports and compliance records
• Proficiency in analyzing and evaluating healthcare practices
• Background in nursing, midwifery, public health, or related field is highly preferred
• Ability to work full time on-site in General Santos City
• Prior experience in a hospital setting or coordinating health programs is a plus
