Qualifications
Graduate of any Engineering course or equivalent
Basic supervisory skills.
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
High communication and presentation skills. Mentally and physically fit
Strong personality to handle and lead subordinates in their respective KPI.
Strong technical knowledge in the injection molding process related to mold set-up, parameters setting and troubleshooting skills.
Superior mental and analytical ability and problem-solving techniques
Able to interpret technical drawings.
Analyzing problem and recommend actions
Minimum of 5 years experience in plastic injection molding operation with secondary process (printing)
Advantage of having experience in programmable robots and other production automation
Duties & Responsibilities
4.1. Supervise and provide technical guidance to the production team. Work with the Assembly line to ensure on time delivery.
4.2. Oversee the plastics production process; Develop and document effective processes to manufacture plastic parts that meet design and
quality requirements. Analyze and plan work force utilization, production space requirements, workflow, and design layout of equipment
and workspace for maximum efficiency.
4.3. Conduct meetings with First and Second Shift Staff to discuss problems and issues that were encountered during the shift and
recommend solutions or actions.
4.4. Discuss and coordinate with Production Planning, Production Engineer, Line Leader and PED staff concerning production schedule,
product design, and machine and tooling issues to ensure efficient production methods and superior productivity results.
4.5. Apply continuous improvement methods such as lean manufacturing to enhance manufacturing quality, reliability, or cost-effectiveness.
4.6. Investigate or resolve operational problems, such as material use, variances or bottlenecks.
4.7. Troubleshoot new or existing product problems involving designs, materials, or processes.
4.8. Recommend new equipment to meet the company needs and equipment obsolescence. Assist in programming of injection molding
robots for part removal, overmold and in-mold label installation as well as interaction with advanced automation systems.
4.9. Evaluate and check the production report done by the Line Leader and Production Engineer.
4.10. Prepare reports summarizing information or trends related to manufacturing performance.
4.11. Attend regular meetings concerning production and shipment schedule, internal and external quality claims and monthly production
performance review
4.12. Train, mentor and assist production personnel in new or existing methods, implementation of Work Instructions, Guidelines and Procedure
4.13. Ensure a professional and healthy teamwork culture shall exist in the production team.
4.14. Provide Production KPI report to the Production Manager regularly.
4.15. Perform other activities assigned by immediate superior.
