Job Description

Qualifications

  • Graduate of any Engineering course or equivalent

General Skills

  • Strong supervisory, communication, and organizational skills
  • Mentally and physically fit
  • Strong leadership personality

Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of injection molding processes
  • Skilled in mold setup, parameter setting, and troubleshooting
  • Able to interpret technical drawings
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Experience Required

  • Minimum 5 years in plastic injection molding operations
  • Advantage: Experience in programmable robots and automation

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Supervise and guide the production team
  • Oversee plastic production processes
  • Conduct meetings with shift staff
  • Coordinate with Planning, Engineering, and other departments
  • Apply continuous improvement methods
  • Investigate operational issues and recommend actions
  • Troubleshoot product and process problems
  • Recommend new equipment as needed
  • Assist in programming injection molding robots
  • Review production reports
  • Prepare manufacturing performance reports
  • Attend production and quality-related meetings
  • Train and mentor production personnel
  • Maintain a healthy teamwork culture
  • Provide KPI reports to Production Manager
  • Perform other assigned duties
