Role Overview

A global organization is seeking a Mobility Platforms Engineer to support and enhance enterprise mobile technologies and infrastructure. This role contributes to the organization's mobile strategy by evaluating new technologies, maintaining device standards, and ensuring secure, efficient mobile operations across the business.

The position works closely with infrastructure, security, and business teams to deliver scalable mobility solutions while supporting both project initiatives and day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain enterprise mobile computing platforms and infrastructure.
  • Act as an escalation point for mobility-related issues arising from projects and operational support, ensuring timely resolution and communication.
  • Collaborate with IT, security, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and implement effective mobility solutions.
  • Engage with device manufacturers and software vendors to evaluate and adopt enterprise mobility technologies.
  • Support the development and rollout of mobile services, device standards, and best practices.
  • Participate in IT projects and represent mobility platform requirements and priorities.
  • Research, design, test, and document standards for mobile devices, operating systems, and applications.
  • Apply and validate security patches, ensuring systems remain secure and compliant.
  • Maintain technical documentation, knowledge repositories, and incident tracking systems.
  • Deliver training and guidance to end users and local teams on mobility tools, standards, and processes.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to mobility platforms and processes.

Qualifications And Experience


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong experience supporting and deploying smart devices (e.g., iOS, Android) in enterprise environments.
  • Solid understanding of enterprise technology environments, particularly endpoint and infrastructure layers within the Microsoft ecosystem.
  • Familiarity with Mobile Device Management (MDM) tools and mobility management practices is an advantage.
  • Relevant certifications in mobile device management or enterprise platforms are a plus.
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, with the ability to identify root causes and implement solutions.
  • Experience working with external vendors and service providers.
