Job Description

The Mobility Coach plays a critical role in enabling internal talent mobility and supporting employees in navigating their career growth within the organization. This role conducts training and learning initiatives, job-readiness assessments, provides personalized career coaching, raises awareness and adoption of mobility programs, and guides employees in exploring diverse career pathways. The Mobility Coach empowers employees to build long-term careers within the company by improving their skills, confidence, and readiness for future roles.

Beyond one-on-one career coaching, the Mobility Coach also contributes to organizational capability building by delivering targeted training programs—including core skills, foundational competencies, and leadership development—based on business needs.

The Mobility Coach will initially be assigned as a key member of our Sales Capability Team and help drive career growth in Sales.

Accountabilities

Capability Building & Training Delivery

  • Facilitate organization-wide learning sessions, including leadership development modules core and foundational skills training, functional and technical, including proactive hiring classes.
  • Collaborate with Capability COE, SMEs, and business units to design, customize, or enhance course materials as needed.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through surveys, assessments, and manager feedback.

Stakeholder Partnership & Coordination

  • Partner with HRBPs, Talent & Capability COE, and business leaders to align mobility programs with workforce needs.
  • Provide data-driven insights into talent readiness, skill gaps, and mobility patterns to inform workforce planning.
  • Support change management and communication initiatives related to career development and mobility.
  • Facilitates backfill planning discussions with operations leaders to ensure workforce continuity for roles vacated by employees transitioning into internal mobility programs or moving through lateral and vertical career advancements.

Career Coaching & Mobility Advisory

  • Conduct structured job-readiness assessments to evaluate employee skills, strengths, gaps, and role fit.
  • Provide personalized career guidance, including career mapping, goal setting, and action planning.
  • Coach employees on exploring internal career pathways and emerging roles across departments and business units.
  • Support employees throughout the mobility journey (program enrollment, assessments, internal job interview preparations, placement readiness).
  • Maintain coaching records, progress trackers, and provide recommendations based on areas of improvement

Mobility Program Promotion & Employee Engagement

  • Proactively recruit and encourage employees to participate in mobility programs, capability academies, and career development initiatives.
  • Counsel employees on available internal opportunities and skill-building pathways.
  • Host informational sessions, career talks, and mobility awareness campaigns.
  • Advocate for a culture of continuous learning, upskilling, and internal movement.

Measurement, Insights & Continuous Improvement

  • Track and report career coaching outcomes, employee progression, and mobility conversions.
  • Analyze learning and coaching data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Continuously refine coaching frameworks, tools, and resources to improve effectiveness and employee experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree holder, preferably in Psychology, Human Resources, Learning & Organizational Development, Business, or any related field; master's degree or coaching certification (e.g., ICF) is an advantage.
  • Experience in talent development, internal mobility, coaching, or HR functions within a shared services, technology, or professional services environment.
  • Understanding competency frameworks, career progression architecture, and enterprise-wide capability development methodologies.
  • Demonstrated experience in career coaching, learning facilitation, competency assessments, and employee development planning.
  • Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, coaching, and counseling capabilities.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to interpret assessment results, proficiency data, learning metrics, and mobility indicators.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, matrixed organization.
  • High level of confidentiality, professionalism, and integrity.
  • Experienced in overseeing the administration, integration, and continuous improvement of learning platforms and talent systems to support organizational development and workforce readiness
  • Ability to quickly learn and apply enterprise AI tools and technologies to support technical workflows and business objectives.
