PHP-Focused | Full-Stack | Delivery-Driven Role

We're looking for a Mid-Level Software Engineer who is focused on delivering high-quality code and building reliable features across our platforms. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on development, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can independently take tasks from start to finish.
What You'll Be Doing
- Developing and maintaining full-stack solutions across internal tools, APIs, SDKs, apps, and customer-facing portals
- Producing clean, maintainable, and scalable PHP code as the primary language
- Implementing features end-to-end with minimal guidance
- Automating business processes to improve internal efficiency
- Collaborating with product, QA, and engineering teams throughout the SDLC
- Investigating and resolving performance or architectural issues with guidance as needed
- Participating in Agile ceremonies (sprints, stand-ups, etc.)
- Working on special projects as directed by the Software Engineering Manager
- Participating in on-call rotation when required
What We'd Love To See
- Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 35+ years commercial software development experience
- Strong foundation in PHP (Laravel experience highly regarded)
- Solid understanding of databases, including schema design & query optimisation
- Experience working with modern APIs and SDKs
- Exposure to test-driven or test-focused development practices
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments
- CI/CD experience (GitLab CI highly regarded)
- Bonus: Experience with Go or Python
- Bonus: Exposure to the telco industry
