Position Summary
Responsible for deploying new technologies as well as installs, configures, maintains and performs system integration testing, operating systems, related utilities and hardware.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
1. Performs requested administration as required. Grants and revokes access to system resources to internal and external customers by exercising a broad knowledge of hardware, operating systems, applications, middleware and e-business.
2. Troubleshoots environment related problems. Resolves complicated issues in pressured situations by applying expertise. Documents findings for knowledge base.
3. Improves efficiency through continuous improvement. Assists with deployment methods to improving the operational effectiveness and efficiency of the group by choosing tools, scripting, and documenting processes for re-use.
4. Participates in group projects. Collaborates with other teams and assists in the development of policies, strategies and tactics. Coordinates efforts across functional groups. Plans and deploy solutions by coordinating with others.
5. Responsible for tracking and monitoring of problems and changes at the Tier I level. Enforces policies and monitors system reports by investigating possible exceptions, updates, and maintains and controls documents.
6. Cross-trains with teammates to ensure that coverage is maintained to adequately handle fluctuations in volume, staffing, and learning curves.
7. Work as a senior administrator/devloper on the needed revisions and implementation of the SailPoint Identity IQ software.
8. Responsible for full lifecycle application development. Ensure code is written to implement the architecture and design such that it meets standards in terms of code quality and efficiency.
9. Fully unit test all solutions before User Acceptance Testing and implementation.
10. Initiate, drive and deliver effective experiences in partnership with distributed cross-functional teams to ensure all aspects of the architectural vision are communicated, supported, and delivered to the highest standards align development initiatives with Department development vision, strategy, and deployment
11. Provide expert direction on SailPoint Identity IQ development and implementation methodology.
Decision-Making Authority/Accountability Level
.Performs relatively complex work under general supervision and exercises independent judgment and decision making in accordance with specified policies and guidelines.
.Possesses strong procedural and/or technical knowledge that has been developed through considerable experience.
.May provide guidance to junior staff.
Minimum Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements
. Demonstrated proficiency with computer software including current Operating System (Windows, Unix), Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, and other applicable applications and programs.
. Must demonstrate an intermediate level of technical expertise in related technologies.
. Must have broad knowledge of IT, project planning, communication, and customer service skills.
. Good Knowledge of SailPoint Identity IQ version 8.4
o User Certifications within Sailpoint
o Deployment using Git Runners (nice to have)
o Skilled in identifying and analyzing existing code and applying remediation
o Skilled in the use of multiple development technologies, and is considered highly proficient in development using BeanShell
. Knowledgeable code migration and management using Git
. Skilled in the development, configuration, and implementation of SailPoint Identity IQ
. Ability to integrate research and best practices into problem avoidance and continuous improvement
. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high volume, deadline-driven environment
. Ability to balance multiple demands and work both independently and as part of a team
. Ability to conduct complex systems analysis and translate user requirements into business solutions
. Ability to display professionalism in dealing with all levels of management and staff
. Ability to exhibit creativity and resourcefulness at problem-solving while collaborating and working effectively with others across varied disciplines
Education and Experience Preferred
.Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or another related field required.
.3-5 years of experience with one or more of the applicable technologies.
.Industry certification a plus.
