Job Description

Requirements:

  1. 1-2 years minimum experience in Microsoft Exchange and IT collaboration
  2. Working experience with the following: Microsoft Exchange,Microsoft SharePoint
  3. Ability to drive progress in ambiguous problem areas independently
  4. Have a strong sense of ownership and consistent attention to detail.
  5. Have a sense of urgency to resolve problems/issues encountered
  6. Provide accurate and timely updates to work tickets, incidents, and outages
  7. Maintain a proactive and positive attitude to support all levels of teams up to and including executive leaders
  8. Collaborative and intuitive Very good customer service skills

Nice-to-haves:

  • Knowledge and/or experience with the following: Google Workspace Microsoft Exchange Online Slack Monday.com Videoconferencing
  • ITIL knowledge/training Good understanding of networking, security and DNS
  • Understanding of Change Management process and Best Practices
  • Experience with VMware ESX/VSphere and cloud (GCP/AWS/Azure) environments
  • Experience with ticketing applications like ITSM or ServiceNow

Additional Job Description

  • Support on backend and administrative functions for TELUS internal Enterprise Grid for Microsoft Exchange, SharePoint and other collaboration tools
  • Ensure these tools align with defined standards and enhance overall employee collaboration
  • Support users questions related to Microsoft Exchange and SharePoint features and redirect to BU admins when needed
  • Assist Tier 3 in setting up and managing supported Microsoft Exchange servers, mailboxes and user accounts.
  • Provide Tier-2 support in day to day operations Share knowledge and best practices within the team and the broader organization
