Job Summary
Interpret customer requirements using design software and convert customer designs into drawings applicable for sheet metal fabrication.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepares production drawings from customer requirements.
- Converts folded/bended parts into blank-size (open-drawing) to suite in sheet-metal raw material required in turret punching and laser cutting.
- Formulates Work Order Process Sheet (WOPS) based on manufacturing requirements of products.
- Evaluates materials, tools, and processes of new product inquiries.
- Identifies checkpoints for QA inspection.
Qualifications/Skills Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a vocational diploma / short course certificate, bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of working experience in related fields is an advantage.
- Preferably 1-4 years experienced employees specializing in manufacturing/production
- Able to work with minimal supervision
