We're hiring a Meta Media Buyer & Creative Strategist to scale a subscription supplement brand from launch to $1M+/month.
This isn't a junior role. We need someone who has personally scaled supplement or health/wellness brands on Meta and knows what it takes to profitably acquire subscribers at scale.
The opportunity:
We're launching a DTC subscription supplement brand with a break-even front-end model (1.5-1.8x ROAS) and all profit on the subscription rebills. You'll own Meta ads end-to-end — from creative strategy and UGC briefing to campaign architecture, testing, and scaling. The founders have 8+ years of ecommerce performance marketing experience managing $200M+ in annual ad spend across 150+ ecom accounts. You won't be reporting to people who don't understand media buying. You'll be working alongside operators who speak your language.
What you'll own:
- Full Meta ad account management from launch through scale ($500/day → $15,000+/day)
- End-to-end creative strategy: identifying winning angles, briefing UGC creators and editors, directing static and video concepts, building the creative testing roadmap
- Campaign architecture and testing framework (ABO for creative isolation, ASC for scaling)
- Creative performance analysis — understanding not just what's working but WHY, and translating that into the next round of briefs
- Ad compliance for supplement brands (you know what Meta flags and how to write copy that converts without getting banned)
- Weekly creative velocity targets: 2-3 new variations/week in month 1, scaling to 10-15/week in month 2+
- Reporting on CPA per subscriber, subscription rate, front-end ROAS, AOV, and creative performance by format
What we need from you:
- 3+ years buying Meta ads for DTC brands, with specific experience in supplements, health, wellness, or consumables
- You've personally managed $300K+/month in Meta spend and scaled campaigns profitably
- Deep understanding of subscription/subscribe-and-save offers — you know that CPA per subscriber matters more than ROAS, and you've optimized for subscription conversion rate before
- Strong creative eye — you can watch a UGC video and immediately identify why the hook isn't working, or look at a static and know the hierarchy is wrong
- Experience briefing UGC creators, working with creative agencies, and directing ad production (podcast-style clips, testimonial videos, AI-generated statics, advertorial content)
- You understand the supplement compliance landscape on Meta — what claims get flagged, how to write benefit-driven copy that stays within policy
- Familiarity with advertorial/listicle landing pages as a traffic destination (not just sending everything to the product page)
- You're comfortable with aggressive scaling tactics — 50% budget increases on winning days, horizontal scaling, rapid creative testing
- Self-directed. You don't need daily management. You need a brief, access to data, and creative resources — then you execute
Nice to have:
- Experience with Shopify + Skio/Recharge subscription analytics
- Experience with Klaviyo and understanding how email/SMS flows interact with paid acquisition
- Familiarity with Google Ads (branded search, Shopping) as a complement to Meta — we're hiring a separate Google buyer but overlap is valuable
- Experience with AI ad creative tools (AdCreative, Pencil, or similar)
- You've worked with break-even or loss-leader front-end models where LTV justifies the acquisition cost
