Job Description

Job Summary: We are looking for a Strategic Ventures Analyst/Mergers and Acquisitions Analyst. This role will play a pivotal part in identifying, evaluating, and integrating new business opportunities across the Asia Pacific region, particularly in the fast-evolving e-commerce and digital commerce landscape.

As a key member of our Strategic Ventures unit, you will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to shape acquisition strategies, support deal execution, and ensure post-acquisition success.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Acquisition

  • Develop and refine acquisition processes, including sourcing criteria, due diligence checklists, and target profiling frameworks
  • Conduct strategic and financial analysis of potential acquisition targets
  • Gather and synthesize market intelligence on e-commerce trends, competitive landscapes, and operating models across Asia Pacific

Acquisition

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess deal implications, risks, and integration readiness
  • Support integration planning, including 100-day priorities, success metrics, and monitoring frameworks
  • Document acquisition workflows and recommend improvements for speed, accuracy, and scalability

Post-Acquisition

  • Monitor post-deal performance, track key metrics, and prepare leadership reports
  • Support optimization and performance improvement initiatives for acquired businesses
  • Assist in developing best practices for future acquisitions and integrations.

Qualifications & Competencies

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related fields
  • 24 years in strategy, consulting, transaction advisory, audit, or corporate development
  • Knowledge of:
  • M&A fundamentals and due diligence processes
  • Financial and strategic analysis
  • Market and competitive research, particularly in e-commerce
  • Business valuation methods (DCF, comparable companies, precedent transactions)
  • Integration planning and project management

Skills & Attributes

  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
  • Ability to interpret complex data and draw strategic insights
  • Excellent presentation, reporting, and communication abilities
  • Skilled in organizing multiple priorities under tight deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and evolving priorities
  • Accuracy and attention to detail in reviewing financial, operational, and contractual data

This job opportunity is for an e-commerce company based in Quezon City (onsite work set up).
