The role
The
Merger Integration Associate supports the firm's merger integration practice through framework management, technology solution support, and sales and operational enablement. This role focuses on maintaining integration best practices, supporting go-to-market activities, and ensuring accurate data, reporting, and coordination across teams to help drive successful M&A integration outcomes.
Your Responsibilities
Integration Framework Support
- Maintain and continuously improve the merger integration framework to ensure quality, accuracy, and consistency
- Collaborate with internal teams and subject matter experts to enhance integration processes and methodologies
- Conduct market and competitive research to keep integration approaches current and differentiated
- Organize and maintain integration deliverables and engagement artifacts
Technology & Sales Support
- Provide operational and sales support for the merger integration technology platform
- Assist in preparing presentations, reports, documentation, and other go-to-market materials
- Support client onboarding and implementation in coordination with sales and product teams
- Contribute research for marketing content such as blogs, articles, and thought leadership materials
Data & Reporting
- Collect, analyze, and validate engagement data to support accurate reporting, billing, and invoicing
- Support sales operations and revenue operations reporting to ensure consistency and timeliness
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with the Merger Integration Lead, Product Owner, sales teams, and partners
- Support internal knowledge-sharing and best practice initiatives
- Help coordinate partner check-ins and prepare quarterly reports
What We're Looking For
- Experience supporting M&A transactions, integration efforts, or related consulting work
- Strong operational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and tools simultaneously
- Ability to simplify and communicate complex M&A and integration concepts
- Familiarity with financial services or banking environments (credit union experience is a plus)
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and continuous improvement mindset
