YOUR ROLE
- Change Management:
- Provide support to process or product changes.
Support with CRB presentations.
Responsible for qual plan, risk assessment, safe launch plan (where applicable).
Owner of 8Ds related to qualification failures, including leading the team through the problem-solving process.
Lead risk assessment meetings and maintain risk assessment documentation; ensure participation of all required subject matter experts.
Owner of reliability request submissions for implementation of qual plan.
Owner of FA or lab request submissions for qualification failures.
Lead PPAP changes, where applicable.
- Support resolution of production issues during safe launch and rampup of implemented changes.
Lead or participate in problemsolving activities and ensure effective containment and corrective actions are implemented; responsible for quantifying the effectiveness of all corrective and containment actions.
- Sustaining Products:
- Reliability Assurance Planning (RAP) / Ongoing Reliability Testing (ORT)
Responsible for ORT monitoring, to ensure shipped products do not present reliability concerns.
Lead problem solving for ORTrelated issues and ensure effective containment and corrective actions are implemented; responsible for quantifying the effectiveness of all corrective and containment actions.
Owner of 8Ds related to ORT failures, including leading the team through the problem-solving process.
Owner of FA or lab request submissions for ORT failures.
Provide support for production issues as needed, including full support to the Customer Quality Engineer.
- Participate in problem solving and ensure effective containment and corrective actions are implemented; responsible for quantifying the effectiveness of all corrective and containment actions.
Responsible for conducting risk assessments and quantifying risks associated with production issues or excursions.
Participate in MRBs, review lot disposition, and provide quality input for production decisions.
Responsible for conducting risk assessments and quantifying risks related to issues observed in onhold lots.
Your Skills & Experiences
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Material Science, or related field)
- Minimum of 5 years experience in semiconductor industry, preferably in Quality Engineering or Product/Process Engineering roles.
- Strong knowledge of reliability testing, root cause analysis (8D), and statistical analysis (Weibull analysis, SPC).
- Familiar with ISO standards, Six Sigma methodologies, Lean manufacturing principles and other quality frameworks.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the capability to lead and participate in internal and customer facing meetings.
- Highly proficient in preparing and delivering presentations.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
