Role Description
The MEMS Quality and Reliability Manager will oversee the reliability and quality of Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems (MEMS) products, ensuring they meet industry and company standards. Key responsibilities include conducting reliability testing, quality evaluations, device failure investigations, and implementing quality assurance processes. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain methodologies for product improvement. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Calamba.
Qualifications
- Lead and develop a MEMS reliability engineering team.
- Define and own reliability and qualification strategies for new products, technologies, and changes.
- Plan and oversee reliability and quarterly monitoring tests (HTOL, TC, THB/HAST, shock, vibration, pressure, etc.).
- Drive the development and standardization of reliability test hardware and processes (fixtures, automation, data analysis).
- Review data, validate reliability conclusions, and conduct risk assessments and reports.
- Interface with design, process, test, quality, and customers for product audits and technical escalations.
- Promote Design for Reliability (DFR) and continuous improvement of methods and tools.
Candidate Profile
- Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Microelectronics, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
- 8+ years in semiconductor/MEMS reliability, ideally on inertial and/or pressure sensors.
- Proven leadership of teams or complex reliability projects.
- Strong knowledge of JEDEC, AEC-Q100/Q104, automotive requirements, and MEMS failure mechanisms.
- Experience with reliability lab equipment, test hardware design, and automation/data analysis tools (e.g., Python, LabVIEW, MATLAB).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in an international, cross-functional environment.
