Medical Concierge Associate

The Medical City Ortigas is searching for an experienced International Patient Concierge Associate to join the team and help lead the organization to the next level. This role is responsible for attending to in-depth telephone and walk-in/personal queries regarding hospital products, handles and assists requirements of the international patients, and responsible for all healthcare and service arrangements for International and VIP Patients; such as admission, monitoring and care during confinement, discharge, and after admission care.

This role reports directly to the Section Head of International Patient Concierge.

What's The Role All About

Job responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Welcoming and greeting arriving International Patients Handling customer concerns, ensuring that they are referred to the right person and followed up on action taken
• Informing Nurse in Charge (NIC) the flight details ahead of time
• Ensuring approved Medical Information Form (MEDIF) or Incapacitated Passengers Handling Advice (INCAD) for international patient repatriation or as needed
• Updating daily admission report and VIP status
• Ensuring emails are attended to properly and on time - Monitoring of late-night admission and early admission
• Coordinating with International Insurances and Third-party administrators and facilitate their service requirements.

An effective International Patient Concierge Associate must possess the following skills:

Knowledge in:

• Interpersonal skills: Ability to assist patients admission at ER or direct admission
• Communication skills: Ability to assist international and VIP Patients with proper accordance
• Customer-service skills: Providing best patient experience and up-to-date services that the hospital provides

Ideally, a candidate must be a graduate of a 4-year Bachelor's degree in Business, Tourism, Hospitality Management and other related courses with at least one year of work experience in Service Industry.
