We are looking for aMedical Billing Specialistwho would focus on the following:

Conduct outbound and inbound calls, providing information and responding to inquiries from insurance representatives and patients.
Handle payment collections over the phone from insurance companies.
Provide follow-up calls if required and participate in quality assessment activities, collect, and analyze information, and recommend process improvements.
Make outbound calls for open and denied claims, while also checking claim status online and correcting denied claims.
Manage patient statements, audits, refund requests, and write-offs.
Deliver positive, warm, and friendly service in all interactions.
Demonstrate the ability to prioritize urgent and high-low priority tasks effectively.
Process medical documents containing sensitive information.
Assist in other areas as required.

Job Qualifications:

Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.
Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in handling delivery tickets, refills, and client documentation.
Good communication skills to provide courteous and effective assistance to clients and colleagues.
Must possess good general office skills.
Must meet and maintain the ethics and standards of conduct and other requirements of all accrediting organizations, governance, and business relationships.
Ability to work well in a team and independently, displaying initiative and problem-solving skills when necessary.
