Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to support the design, analysis, and implementation of mechanical systems and components. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet performance, safety, quality, and cost requirements.

The ideal candidate has a strong technical foundation, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple engineering tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Engineering

  • Design, develop, and evaluate mechanical systems, components, and assemblies
  • Prepare engineering drawings, calculations, and technical specifications
  • Review project requirements and translate them into effective mechanical solutions
  • Perform system sizing, load calculations, and performance analysis

Analysis & Problem Solving

  • Conduct engineering analyses to ensure reliability, efficiency, and compliance with standards
  • Identify design issues and recommend improvements or corrective actions
  • Support troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for mechanical issues

Project & Team Collaboration

  • Work with architects, engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders
  • Coordinate with manufacturing, construction, or installation teams as required
  • Participate in design reviews and provide technical input

Documentation & Compliance

  • Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and regulations
  • Maintain accurate documentation throughout the project lifecycle
  • Support permitting, submittals, and technical reviews as needed

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles
  • Proficiency with engineering and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, or similar)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities

Preferred

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or progress toward licensure
  • Experience in HVAC, MEP, manufacturing, construction, or product design
  • Familiarity with industry codes and standards (ASHRAE, ASME, NFPA, etc.)
  • Experience working on multi-disciplinary engineering projects

This is a full time role

Up to $8/hr
