Lycopodium Philippines is currently recruiting for a Mechanical Designer to join our growing team in Manila.
The tasks you'll perform
- Producing Lycopodium and industry standard models and design drawings from the design engineer calculations and sketches.
- Appraise the layout and detailing of materials handling and mine plant design.
- Produce design drawings that are consistent industry standard techniques and that comply to Company drawing office and CAD procedures.
- Ensuring project schedules and man-hour budgets are met for areas of assigned work.
- Follow and implement all relevant Company standards and procedures and ensure design drawings comply with all relevant Australian and International Standards.
The expertise you'll bring
- University Degree in Engineering Design Drafting or 3+ years experience in Mechanical Design/Drafting
- Proficiency in the design layout and detailing of materials handling and process plants (full plant layout experience is key)
- Understanding of fabrication and construction techniques in the materials handling industry
