About the role:
- The Material Planner will be part of a focused, high caliber Supply Chain Management and will have to ensure that sufficient BOM and Non BOM Auxiliary materials are always available for smooth production continuity.
What you will do:
- Ensures material supply meets production requirement including safety stock target while optimizing cost.
- Manage ramp-ups and slow down to ensure no supply gap or excessive inventory.
- Plans, calculates raw materials requirement using S&OP and OPQR.
- Monitors stocks movement to ensure FIFO is followed.
- Supports cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Continuously monitor non-conforming raw materials and take action to deplete, scrap and if possible, re-use it (concession).
- Manages inventory risk and ensures that contingency plans are in place.
- Ensures correctness of raw material Logistic view in SAP.
- Submits timely report such as critical materials, weekly highlights/lowlights, Obsolescence provision and quarterly RFF data.
- Complies with the proper operating procedures of 5S, safety and health standards/regulations.
- Interacts closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders (Operations, Engineering, QA, and SCM) to resolve quality and supply issues.
- Collects, consolidates and reports Key Initiatives and KPI in order to provide relevant information to superior and SCM Team.
- Performs self-audit in order to ensure accuracy and correctness of activity in accordance to set standards.
What you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- At least 2-3 year of working experience in related field is required for this position (preferably Semiconductor company).
- Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of SAP and MRP systems is an advantage.
- Strong ability to build and maintain internal and external relationships.
- Attention to detail with clear and effective communication skills.
- Results‑oriented and organized, with the ability to plan and deliver against deadlines.
- Understanding of manufacturing and quality assurance processes.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Team player with a collaborative mindset.
