Your role and responsibilities

As a Master Data Specialist, you will play a critical role in implementing master data pricing within the commercial operations process to ensure accurate pricing, compliance, and smooth order-to-cash execution. You will lead the implementation, operation, and maintenance of tools and processes specific to sales master data, applying operational excellence methodologies to standardize and improve ways of working.


The work model for the role is: Hybrid #LI-Hybrid

  • Participating in robust governance and high data quality, providing scalable solutions and shared services to local organizations across the APAC region, and driving adoption through onboarding, training, and continuous support to achieve compliance and business outcomes.
  • Ensuring Master Data and Pricing are maintained efficiently and accurately across all systems within your scope, here are the key responsibilities.
  • Documenting, reviewing, and updating the work procedures pertaining to all aspects of system maintenance.
  • Participating in the elimination of non-conformance and adopting the first-time right approach to assist in the overall resolution of quality issues.
  • Acting as a master data super user, when needed and providing support and training to other Master Data Specialists and master data professionals in your area of responsibility.
  • Generating reports and analyzing data on the performance of existing process, tools and ongoing projects. Proposing and implementing improvements based on data-driven insights.
  • Monitoring and striving to maintain high level of quality, accuracy, and process consistency. Supporting the implementation of tools (ERP/SAP and connected tools).


Qualifications for the role

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering or another relevant course.
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on business experience working with SAP.
  • Deep understanding of ERP/SAP business processes with proven ability to bridge technical requirements and business objectives. Strong knowledge of SAP SD and MM modules.
  • Experience in requirement analysis, preparing master data specifications, and managing design, integration, testing, cutover, and roll-out activities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially in Opportunity-to-Order and Opportunity-to-Cash processes.
  • Basic to intermediate understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process.
  • Ability to work across different cultures and adapt to APAC region working hours.
