Proven experience as a Mason or similar role
Knowledge of masonry techniques and materials
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
Physical strength and stamina
Familiarity with hand and power tools
Attention to detail and precision
Good communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work in various weather conditions
High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an apprenticeship or vocational training is a plus
Understanding of safety procedures and regulations
Reliable transportation to job sites
Responsibilities
Lay bricks, stones, and concrete blocks according to blueprints
Mix mortar and grout to appropriate consistency
Cut and shape materials using hand and power tools
Construct and repair walls, partitions, arches, and other structures
Ensure alignment and structural integrity of masonry work
Collaborate with other construction professionals on-site
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Follow all safety regulations and company policies
Inspect completed work for quality and accuracy
Operate scaffolding and other equipment safely
Read and interpret technical drawings and plans
Estimate materials and time required for projects
