Role Description

We're looking for a Marketing Specialist to own recurring design production for a retail grocery and liquor store business. You'll take full ownership of bi-weekly print circulars, mailers, social media graphics, and in-store signage — working from the client's existing brand templates and a full year of past materials as reference. This is a role for someone who can move fast, catch pricing errors before they go to print, and exercise sound design judgment without needing every piece spelled out for them.

Responsibilities

• Design bi-weekly print circulars and mailers (including occasional liquor-store-specific mailers) using the client's existing templates and brand assets
• Source product images and build layouts based on pricing and product information provided by store managers at the start of each cycle
• Design social media graphics on request for the client's social media manager, who owns posting and account access
• Support in-store signage needs, including ad hoc requests from store staff
• Incorporate manager and stakeholder feedback during the design process, routing final materials for senior manager/ownership approval before anything goes to print
• Prepare and submit print-ready files to the client's print vendor according to their file specifications
• Cross-check all pricing on materials against the source pricing sheet provided by store managers to ensure zero discrepancies
• Turn around day-to-day design requests and revisions within approximately 1 hour during working hours
• Meet bi-weekly circular and mailer deadlines consistently, working within a standard 7–14 day lead time per cycle

Required Qualifications

• 3–6 years of graphic design experience, including retail circulars/ads and print mailers
• Social media graphic design experience (feed posts, stories, and similar formats)
• Experience designing in-store signage and comfort fielding ad hoc requests from store staff
• Strong attention to detail, with a track record of pricing/data accuracy in customer-facing materials
• Demonstrated ability to turn around design work quickly under recurring, tight deadlines
• Comfortable working within established brand guidelines and templates, exercising independent design judgment where full specs aren't provided
• Availability during Eastern Time business hours

Preferred Experience

• Prior marketing/design experience in grocery, retail, or liquor store environments
• Proficiency in Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
• Print production knowledge (bleed, resolution, mailer specs) for meeting third-party print vendor requirements
• Experience with social media content calendars or scheduling tools

Hands-On Experience

• Owning end-to-end design production for a recurring retail marketing cycle, from raw pricing input to print-ready file
• Working directly within a brand's existing visual identity and templates rather than building from scratch
