As our events business continues to scale, we are hiring a Marketing Executive – Events & Operations to support the flawless execution of Forbes Australia's conferences, summits, awards, and member events. This is a hands‑on, execution‑first role. Success in this position comes from precision, consistency, and strong process discipline — not high‑level strategy or big‑picture ideation.

Key Responsibilities
Event Marketing Execution (Primary Focus)
- Execute marketing campaigns for all Forbes Australia events, including conferences, summits, awards, and member experiences
- Coordinate event communications across email, digital, and social channels (invitations, confirmations, reminders, updates)
- Manage event ticketing and registration platforms
- Support on-site event execution and attendee experience coordination
- Deliver accurate post-event marketing follow-ups and content distribution
Email Marketing & Campaign Delivery
- Build and deploy email campaigns based on briefs from the Marketing Communications Manager
- Conduct thorough QA prior to all sends to ensure 100% accuracy
- Manage email templates, audience segmentation, and basic performance reporting
Marketing Operations & Process Support
- Maintain marketing templates, assets, and brand-approved materials
- Follow and support documented SOPs and workflows
- Coordinate routine design requests with offshore creative support
- Assist with budget tracking, invoices, and marketing admin tasks
Requirements
- 2–4 years experience in event marketing, marketing coordination, or campaign execution
- Hands-on experience with email marketing platforms (HubSpot, Mailchimp, or similar)
- Strong organisational and project-management ability
- Exceptional attention to detail with a disciplined QA mindset
- Confidence working independently in a remote environment
- Comfortable with following structured processes and receiving direct feedback
Highly Regarded
- Experience with event registration platforms (Eventbrite, Cvent, Swoogo, etc.)
- B2B, membership, or premium brand experience
- Exposure to marketing operations or campaign execution roles
