Following a recent rebrand, the business is elevating its visual identity, sales materials, and marketing presence while managing a high and often unpredictable volume of tenders and proposals.
With increasing workload across proposals, marketing campaigns, and digital channels, the client is seeking a dedicated Marketing & Design Coordinator to alleviate design pressure, accelerate creative output, and strengthen brand consistency across all client-facing materials.
About The Role
This is a design-first role created to support increasing tender volume, proposal production, and marketing initiatives.
Reporting directly to the Communications Manager, you will take ownership of graphic design across proposals, sales materials, social media, email campaigns, and digital advertising.
Design is the core focus of this role, with copywriting serving as a strong secondary capability. The ideal candidate can interpret complex or technical information and translate it into visually engaging, easy-to-understand materials.
This role operates in a fast-moving, output-driven environment with fluctuating proposal volumes (some weeks minimal, others high-intensity), requiring flexibility and strong time management.
Core Responsibilities
Social Media
- Design branded graphics for LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
- Write clear, professional captions aligned with the client's tone of voice.
- Schedule and manage posts using Buffer or similar scheduling tools.
- Maintain and organize digital media assets.
Proposals & Tenders
- Manage end-to-end visual design and formatting of client proposals and tender capability statements.
- Ensure all submissions align with brand guidelines and presentation standards.
- Assist with copywriting, editing, and formatting to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
- Design infographics, charts, and supporting visual elements for technical content.
- Optimize images and graphics for quality and file efficiency.
- Maintain and contribute to the development of the tender and proposal resource library.
Marketing & Communications Campaigns
- Design creative assets for digital advertising campaigns.
- Design and write marketing emails and newsletters.
- Develop and maintain branded email templates within HubSpot.
- Manage and organize marketing assets within CRM systems.
- Assist with blog formatting and website content updates.
Ad Hoc Design Support
- Provide branded document and presentation design support to the client's Management Team for internal and external use.
Competencies And Qualifications
Must-Have
- 3+ years in a design-heavy marketing or communications role.
- Strong B2B graphic design capability across proposals, presentations, and branded collateral.
- Proven experience designing client-facing proposals or structured documents.
- Ability to interpret complex or dry information and translate it into engaging visual content.
- Strong copywriting skills for digital channels (social media, email, website).
- Proficiency in Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop).
- Experience managing LinkedIn and other social platforms for business use.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word).
- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage fluctuating workloads.
- Portfolio showcasing B2B design work, proposals, infographics, and social assets.
Nice-to-Have
- Tender writing or bid support experience.
- Experience with HubSpot CRM and email marketing systems.
- Familiarity with WordPress CMS.
- Experience using Buffer or similar social scheduling tools.
- Familiarity with SharePoint.
- Basic motion graphics or animation capability.
