Job Summary
The Marketing Communications Associate – Researcher / Writer supports Quezon City's investment promotion and economic development objectives by producing high-quality written content grounded in research, data, and performance metrics. The role focuses on transforming national and city-level literature, marketing analytics, social listening insights, and investment KPIs into clear, credible, and compelling narratives for reports, campaigns, dashboards, and decision support. This position plays a critical role in evidence-based communication, enabling informed marketing execution and minor tactical decisions that strengthen investor confidence and ecosystem engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Research and Content Development
Conduct research using national, regional, and city-level economic literature, policy documents, and industry reports to support investment promotion and startup development initiatives
Develop technical and creative written materials, including reports, briefs, narratives, case studies, website content, social media posts, press article, and campaign copy
Data Analysis and Narrative Building
Create and analyze marketing and investment performance data through the creation of dashboards, tracking of platform analytics, and social listening tools
Translate KPIs and localize information through clear narratives that inform reporting, guide minor marketing and investment decisions, and support management recommendations
Marketing and Investment Reporting Support
Assist in preparing narrative sections for marketing performance reports, investor updates, and program monitoring documents
Maintain and update marketing and investment monitoring tools, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and relevance of data
Campaign and Content Execution
Support the execution of marketing campaigns by aligning content with performance indicators and strategic priorities
Collaborate with digital, events, and city/private communications/promotions teams to ensure messaging consistency across platforms
Stakeholder and Internal Coordination
Work closely with internal divisions and partner offices to gather inputs, validate data, and refine messaging
Support documentation needs for meetings, briefings, and presentations related to investment promotion and ecosystem development
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field
1-2 years of experience in a marketing, communications, or related role (fresh graduates will be considered)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Tiktok, etc.)
Familiarity with content management systems email marketing tools, and design tools
Basic knowledge of digital marketing strategies
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
