Job Description

Core responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing plans to meet revenue and occupancy targets.
  • Pursue new business opportunities and manage relationships with existing clients.
  • Set sales goals and participate in sales calls to close deals.
  • Develop and execute promotional activities, packages, and events.
  • Create and manage on-brand messaging across all communication channels, including digital, traditional, and social media.
  • Manage the hotel's website, social media accounts, and online travel agent (OTA) listings.
  • Develop and distribute press releases and manage media relations.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and the hotel's performance to identify areas for growth.
  • Analyze sales and marketing data to measure the effectiveness of campaigns.
  • Work with General Managers, Revenue Managers, and other department heads to align sales and marketing efforts with business objectives.
  • Coordinate with other staff to ensure customer satisfaction with facilities and services.

Job Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or Hospitality Management is typically required.
  • Proven experience in sales and marketing within the hospitality industry, often with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, CRM systems, social media).
  • Analytical skills to interpret market data and financial reports.
  • Creative thinking to develop innovative campaigns and solutions.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and client relationship management abilities.
  • Experience in a hotel industry is a plus.
