Job Description

The position supports the Product Development (PD) Program Manager in the delivery of product development initiatives, including but not limited to the definition of new products, process and system improvement and product feature enhancement initiatives for Credit Cards to ensure that the portfolio of products offered to the target consumers remain relevant, competitive if not superior and profitable. The brands and product portfolio must adhere to the standards agreed upon with Internal Compliance and prescribed standards of the schemes and with the external regulators (BSP). The Marketing Assistant also handles administrative and documentation requests for the division/department.

Main Accountabilities

  • Assists the Product Development Officer in the planning and implementation of the various product development programs assigned under the division. May solely manage minor projects and initiatives as may be assigned.
  • Assists in the identification of business needs and opportunities for growth, including initiatives on internal/interdepartmental support and efficiency enhancements and ensures that product/service delivery to customer is consistent with the established customer value proposition of the products/facility.
  • Manages the tracking and monitoring of A&P and Operex spending versus budget of the assigned programs. Consolidates and executes division scheduling, reports, and research, and performs other duties and functions that may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications

  • College graduate preferably with a degree in business or marketing-related courses
  • Experience in a similar function is an advantage
  • Open to fresh graduates
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
