Job Description

Overview

The Marketing Assistant supports the execution of marketing initiatives by coordinating content projects, managing email campaigns, and assisting the sales team with campaign planning and preparation.

This role ensures marketing activities are organized, accurately executed, and aligned with departmental priorities. The Marketing Assistant also serves as a key coordination point for partner-related marketing activities, ensuring deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

Content & Marketing Projects

  • Execute content projects including emails, one-pagers, presentations, social posts, and internal communications
  • Maintain timelines, approvals, and version control for marketing deliverables
  • Assist with proofreading, copy edits, and formatting to ensure brand consistency and accuracy

Email Campaign Management

  • Build, schedule, test, and deploy email campaigns using marketing automation tools
  • Manage email lists, segmentation, campaign performance tracking, and reporting (open rates, CTR, etc.)
  • Identify insights and optimization opportunities based on campaign performance
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to align campaigns with messaging and timing goals

Sales Support & Planning

  • Collaborate closely with the sales team on campaign planning and outreach support
  • Prepare sales enablement assets such as email templates, decks, and campaign briefs
  • Coordinate marketing calendars to align with sales priorities
  • Organize and maintain up-to-date sales collateral (decks, one-pagers, case studies)

Associations, Channel Partners & Affinity Groups

  • Coordinate marketing deliverables for associations, channel partners, and affinity groups
  • Manage timelines, asset requests, approvals, and distribution requirements
  • Ensure partner-facing materials align with brand standards and messaging guidelines
  • Track partner marketing commitments, activities, and deadlines

Administrative & Coordination Support

  • Maintain organized records of campaigns, assets, and performance metrics
  • Track tasks, deadlines, and follow-ups across marketing and sales initiatives
  • Provide general coordination support to ensure programs run smoothly

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing or marketing support
  • Experience with email marketing or marketing automation platforms (HubSpot preferred)
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of digital marketing metrics and reporting
  • Experience supporting B2B marketing initiatives
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills
  • Excellent written communication, proofreading, and editing abilities
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and leadership teams
  • Experience supporting healthcare or dental marketing preferred
  • Experience coordinating partner, association, or channel marketing initiatives
