Working Hours: 9-5 AEST
Role OverviewThis is a hands-on, execution-focused role supporting the growth of an Australian professional services consultancy.
You will manage the CRM, research and pursue commercial opportunities, prepare tenders and proposals, and produce high-quality written materials. You will also develop SOPs so work is consistent, repeatable, and scalable.
This role suits someone experienced, structured, and self-directed. You are expected to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver without being micromanaged.
Key ResponsibilitiesCRM & Marketing Operations- Own day-to-day management of the CRM (GoHighLevel preferred)
- Maintain pipelines, automations, workflows, and reporting
- Ensure accurate data entry, tagging, and follow-up discipline
- Build and improve lead capture, nurture, and follow-up processes
Business Development & Lead Management- Monitor and triage inbound enquiries
- Research and identify new leads, clients, and partnership opportunities
- Qualify leads against defined criteria and progress them through the pipeline
- Conduct outbound outreach (email, LinkedIn, CRM-based follow-ups)
- Track opportunities and ensure clear next actions at all times
Tenders & Proposals- Monitor, screen, and triage tenders and RFP opportunities
- Assist in preparing tender submissions and proposals
- Draft, edit, proof, and format content to a professional standard
- Manage deadlines, compliance requirements, and submission documentation
Copywriting & Communications- Write, and review clear, commercially focused copy for:
- Tenders and proposals
- Capability statements and marketing collateral
- Website and email campaigns
- Internal process documentation
- Proof and quality-check all materials prior to issue
Systems & SOP Development- Develop and maintain SOPs for marketing and business development activities
- Document repeatable processes so work can be delegated or scaled
- Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements to systems and workflows
Required Experience & SkillsEssential- Proven experience in marketing and/or business development roles
- Strong CRM management experience (GoHighLevel highly regarded)
- Experience researching, qualifying, and pursuing leads
- Demonstrated experience preparing tenders, proposals, or formal submissions
- Strong written English skills (copywriting, editing, proofreading)
- Experience developing SOPs or operational documentation
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote, overseas role
Desirable- Experience supporting Australian companies or consultancies
- Familiarity with Australian business practices and tender processes
- Experience with CRM automation, funnels, and integrations
- Background in professional services, construction, engineering, or infrastructure
Working Arrangements- Full-time, remote role based overseas
- Must maintain reliable internet and communication systems
- Required to overlap a minimum of 45 business hours with AEST
- Regular video and written communication expected
