The Market Research and Competitor Analyst is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting market intelligence to support business planning, product strategy, and competitive positioning. This role plays a key part in helping the company stay ahead of market trends and competitor movements in the automotive sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive market research (AUTOMOTIVE) related to industry trends, customer behavior, pricing, and emerging technologies in the automotive market.
- Analyze competitor products, pricing strategies, promotions, distribution channels, and overall market performance.
- Prepare regular reports, dashboards, and insights for management decision-making, including SWOT analyses and market forecasts.
- Monitor local and global automotive industry developments, regulatory changes, and macroeconomic factors that may affect business performance.
- Provide recommendations to support product development, marketing strategies, and sales initiatives based on research findings.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product, and After-sales teams to align strategies with market realities.
- Maintain an updated database of competitor models, specifications, pricing, sales performance, and promotional activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, Statistics, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in market research, business analysis, or competitor intelligence, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
- Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
