Market Research Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

Research and Analysis

Monitor global M&A transactions and developments, including deal announcements, regulatory approvals, and market reactions.

Conduct comprehensive analysis of M&A activity in major industries and sectors, identifying key transactions, emerging trends, and market dynamics.

Stay abreast of industry developments, market disruptions, and regulatory changes of significant interest to M&A professionals.

Reporting, Content Management, and Data Storytelling

Craft insightful reports translating data and statistics into clear and simple narratives that allow audiences to better understand trends, patterns and drivers.

Working with the graphics team, develop materials that effectively visualize and accurately present the data narrative.

Help drive stakeholder engagement by proactively identifying topics and conversations of interest to the industry and initiating thought leadership projects such as round table discussions, forums, and webinars.

Develop programs based on an understanding of audience/stakeholder perspectives. Conduct research/interviews and work closely with Sales and Marketing to ensure that

programs are aligned with overall business direction.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, with a business or finance background.

5+ years of experience in business news writing for a credible news organization, or writing articles for a financial publication or research company.

Strong writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to distill complex business concepts into clear, compelling narratives for a diverse audience.

Excellent research skills and attention to detail, with the ability to gather information from multiple sources and synthesize it into cohesive and insightful content.

Knowledge of business topics such as strategy, management and finance

Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with financial databases and research platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, FactSet, Capital IQ).
