Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance or any

related field

  • 5 years of experience in Market Research
  • Experience from a research company is a plus
  • Proven Market Research Analysis with experience on Statistical Data Analysis and

interview techniques

  • Adequate knowledge of Data Collection Methods (polls, focus groups, surveys, etc.)
  • Good interpersonal skills with strong written and oral communication and presentation

  • Excellent in organizational skills, accuracy and attention to details
  • Strong Analytical and critical thinking with creative and problem-solving skills
  • Has the ability to interpret large amounts of data, to multi-task and meet deadline
  • Has the ability to motivate and empower the Research Team
  • Results-oriented with strong analytical skills
  • Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
  • Must be flexible to work extended and weekend hours

Role Purpose/Job Summary

  • Collect data on customers, competitors, industry, market location and situation,

consolidate information into actionable items, reports and presentations.

  • Identify Market and Sales trends, provide analysis and make recommendations for

improvement of products and services.

  • Understand business objectives and design surveys to discover prospective customers

preferences.

  • Research and compile data related to current product market, customer demographics

and interest, and factors influencing product demand; analyzes results to identify ways

of maximizing sales and market penetration of current products.

  • Compile and analyze statistical data using modern and traditional methods to collect it.
  • Devise and evaluate methods for collecting data, such as surveys, questionnaires, and

opinion polls.

  • Perform valid and reliable market research SWOT analysis.
  • Identify potential new products or markets through research.
  • Forecast and track industry marketing and sales trends based on collected data.
  • Provide competitive analysis on various companies market offerings, identify market

trends, pricing/business models, sales and methods of operation.

  • Summarize and analyze data; make recommendations related to research findings.
  • Report findings, complete with graphs illustrating data and written text explaining

complex findings.

  • Evaluate program methodology and key data to ensure that data are accurate and

complete.

  • Remain fully informed on market trends, other parties researches and implement best

practices.
