Job Description
- Key ResponsibilitiesMarket Access Strategy
- Develop and implement market access strategies aligned with brand and commercial objectives.
- Analyze healthcare policies, reimbursement pathways, and payer dynamics affecting product uptake.
- Identify access barriers and create solutions to improve patient affordability and availability.
- Support pricing and reimbursement submissions with evidence-based value propositions.
Brand & Marketing Collaboration
- Partner closely with Brand Managers to integrate access strategies into brand plans.
- Contribute to annual brand planning, forecasting, and launch readiness initiatives.
- Translate clinical and economic value into compelling payer and stakeholder messaging.
- Ensure alignment between marketing campaigns and access priorities.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Build relationships with key external stakeholders including:
- Government agencies
- Payers and reimbursement bodies
- Hospital administrators
- Key opinion leaders and healthcare institutions
- Support negotiations and access discussions where applicable.
Health Economics & Evidence Generation
- Support development of health economic models and value dossiers.
- Collaborate with Medical Affairs on real-world evidence and outcomes data.
- Monitor policy changes impacting reimbursement and access.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Work closely with Medical, Regulatory, Commercial Excellence, and Supply Chain teams.
- Provide access insights to guide commercial decision-making.
- Support product launches and lifecycle management initiatives.
The Successful Applicant
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business, Economics, or related field.
- MBA or postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
- 5-8+ years experience in:
- Market Access
- Product/Brand Management
- Pharmaceutical or biotech marketing
- Experience working with specialty, biologics, or innovative therapies preferred.
- Strong understanding of Philippine healthcare and reimbursement landscape.
- Experience collaborating with multinational pharma partners is highly preferred.
