Marine Superintendent (LNG, Singapore)

Our clients are a leading player in the shipping industry. We are tasked to source for a Marine Superintendent to oversee their LNG vessels.

Description:

• Ensure vessels carry out operations and voyages in line with client instructions and internal protocols
• Coordinate and handle inspection processes, including uploading necessary documentation to relevant maritime compliance platforms
• Perform preparatory reviews (onboard or remotely) to ready ships for upcoming audits or evaluations
• Monitor navigational standards aboard vessels, reviewing route plans and conducting periodic navigation check
• Make sure all operations meet the standards set by terminals, charterers, major oil companies, and other stakeholders
• Engage with national and port authorities to address compliance and operational concerns
• Carry-out periodical marine/safety inspection of ships. Follow-up root-cause analysis and corrective actions completed for each observation

Requirements:

• Sailing experience as a Master aboard LNG vessels
• Minimum 2 years in a land-based role overseeing LNG vessels
