Job Description
- Lead the RFQ process, ensuring feasibility analysis is completed prior to quotation and that proposals are competitive, accurate, and delivered on time
- Review and approve manufacturing costs during the quotation stage
- Proactively manage New Product Introduction (NPI) programs to meet all customer milestones related to quality, delivery, service, and cost
- Oversee NPI activities and coordinate start-up of new production lines
- Lead cross-functional program teams including production, quality, engineering, and materials
- Ensure ramp-up efficiency, scrap levels, and productivity are aligned with approved quotations
- Plan and manage equipment and capital investments to support business goals and cost optimization
- Develop and maintain productivity and capacity plans
- Build and sustain strong customer relationships to maintain and grow business revenue
- Review, validate, and optimize equipment and system layouts
- Lead teams to consistently achieve on-time delivery, required quality levels, and target profitability
- Monitor overall operational efficiency and ensure alignment with performance targets
- Track and analyze KPI reports, driving corrective and improvement actions as required
- Ensure compliance with internal standards, processes, and operating procedures
- Promote strong cross-functional collaboration to meet customer quality expectations
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of managerial experience in operations within a similar industry
- Strong background in facility equipment, manufacturing operations, and process management
- Proven ability to work under pressure and manage tight schedules
- Highly analytical with strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated leadership and people management skills
- Effective presentation, communication, and facilitation abilities
