This role is a hands-on contributor to operational excellence, bridging data, systems, and shop-floor execution. The position partners closely with the Manufacturing Excellence Engineer to translate improvement ideas into measurable and sustainable results through strong data discipline, system optimization, and continuous monitoring of manufacturing performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Manufacturing Excellence Engineer in continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
- Collect, validate, consolidate, and analyze production, manpower, and equipment performance data.
- Support the implementation, usage, and compliance of Time and Motion Studies and production tracking tools.
- Assist in identifying opportunities for automation and digitization of manual manufacturing processes.
- Monitor and track the effectiveness of implemented improvement solutions, ensuring sustainability of actions.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for engineering and management reviews.
- Assist in the documentation of SOPs, standard work, and process improvements.
- Coordinate with Production, Engineering, and Maintenance teams for data gathering and validation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, or a related field.
- 12 years of experience in manufacturing operations, process improvement, or systems support.
- Basic knowledge or exposure to Time and Motion Studies, ERP systems, or production monitoring tools is an advantage.
- Proficient in Excel; experience with reporting or dashboarding tools is a plus.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills.
- Willingness to work on the shop floor and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
