Pointwest is looking for a Manual Quality Analyst (Junior to Mid-Level) to join our Healthcare and Retail Strategic Business Unit. This role is key to delivering high-quality software through detailed testing, clear defect reporting, and active collaboration with cross-functional teams. As a Quality Analyst, you will champion the delivery of flawless digital solutions that enhance user experiences across critical healthcare systems and retail platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Delighting Our Customers & Stakeholders
- Design, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases mapped directly to client business requirements.
- Conduct thorough functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing to ensure a high-quality product release.
- Log, track, and manage bugs through defect tracking tools, ensuring clear documentation of testing processes, risks, and blockers.
- Practice Customer Centricity by advocating for the end-user experience during testing cycles to ensure retail and healthcare applications are intuitive and accessible.

- Support project timelines by ensuring on-time delivery of QA milestones, safeguarding client retention through exceptional service delivery.
- Minimize post-release issues through rigorous testing gates, strengthening Pointwest's brand reputation for reliable, production-ready software.
- Identify potential project risks early in the software development life cycle (SDLC) to minimize costly scope creeps or delayed launches.

Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or any related field.
- Experience: Relevant experience in manual QA testing, with a strong preference for experience within Retail or Healthcare domains.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in QA methodologies, test design techniques, and SDLC models.
- Hands-on experience with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
- Proficiency in executing Low-Code/No-Code Testing Tools.
- Ability to perform minor script adjustments; a basic understanding of programming languages is highly advantageous.
- Soft Skills: High attention to detail, strong analytical capabilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear articulation of technical issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
