We are seeking a visionary, commercially driven Managing Director to lead our Philippines Air & Ocean organization into its next chapter of growth. In this role, you will oversee the strategy and execution across our comprehensive service portfolio including Air, Ocean, Road freight, Project Logistics, Customs Brokerage and Trucking. Your primary mission is to accelerate profitable business expansion and deliver a world-class operations while expanding our market-leading position. This mandate requires an agile leader who seamlessly balances high-level strategic planning with a hands-on approach to fostering a resilient and high-performance culture.

1. Strategic Leadership & Financial Governance

  • Full P&L Leadership: Lead the country business with full P&L responsibility, ensuring profitable and sustainable growth across all services.
  • Strategic Alignment: Drive, communicate and execute the local business strategy in alignment with Regional Leadership.
  • Financial Oversight: Monitor key KPIs, SLAs and financial performance, collaborating with Finance and Regional Leadership on budgets, forecasts and investment decisions.
  • Risk & Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to legal, regulatory and internal policies to safeguard risk management and business continuity.

2. Commercial Growth & Market Expansion

  • Business Development: Actively identify and pursue growth opportunities, expanding market presence and developing new commercial and operational initiatives.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with key customers, authorities and business partners.
  • Strategic Sales Support: Lead major customer visits and high-stakes tenders to drive successful sales outcomes.

3. Operational Excellence & Performance

  • Operational Oversight: Manage day-to-day operations ensuring efficiency, service excellence, compliance and continuous improvement.
  • On-Site Presence: Maintain regular presence across all local sites to support teams, strengthen inter-department cooperation and monitor performance.

4. People & Culture Development

  • Leadership Mentorship: Lead, mentor and develop senior leadership team (HODs), fostering a culture focused on accountability, collaboration, empowerment and performance.
  • Culture Building: Foster organizational culture anchored in accountability, collaboration, empowerment and high performance.

  • Industry Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in logistics or freight forwarding.
  • Multimodal Knowledge: Deep understanding of Air, Ocean, Road and Project Logistics.
  • Strong Commercial Background: Drive sales and marketing efforts to achieve business growth.
  • P&L Mastery: Proven track record of managing full P&L with the ability to drive both top-line growth and bottom-line efficiency (preferred).
  • Strong Leadership Experience managing senior teams and multiple business lines.
  • Deep Knowledge of Local Philippines market (preferred).
  • Academic Background: Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or related field is required, MBA or equivalent is highly preferred.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
