The Manager - Fresh Food Business Support is responsible for supporting and developing all analysis and support work to meet commercial targets (fresh food), assist in the development of preparing category management plans and presentations for key customers using multiple data sources, and present findings to appropriate teams in support of business plans. Furthermore, this must assist the commercial team of the sales planning process to identify trends and review key indicators; track opportunity gaps and highlight causal factors and establish and monitor critical efficiency KPIs for the commercial FF team.
Major Responsibilities
- Be the center and contact point of division for Fresh Food MSP Go-live and will be continuous for phase II
- Be internal trainer (for newcomer in the team) for MSP
- Support both Commercial Fresh Food 1 & Commercial Fresh Food 2 for any ad-hoc projects e.g., Impact from DC crisis, impact from Covid, Fresh Food development updated progress, Yearly Buyer Performance, Regional DC, Speed Fresh, Reclassification
- Support Regional buyers to smoothly run their business both system and documentation
- Develop and implement standard reports for all FF commercial teams to have the same understanding in their own area.
- Facilitate, gather, and coordinate between the others department and commercial FF for improving efficiency and implement commercial FF project
- Support and participate for all ad-hoc requests which are related to commercial FF
- Providing team for regular analytical reports and any ad hoc reports upon their requests
- Co-ordinate between Spaceman and Commercial to improve efficiency of Fresh Food assortment and space management
- Assist in driving category development principles with key customers to differentiate our client from competition to attain increased distribution, space and display resulting in increased sales and profit
- Prepare space planning planograms and analysis for key accounts utilizing Space Planning software and Nielsen or retailer data.
Qualifications
- BS/BA required
- 3+ Years experience in sales analytics (fresh food related)
- Prominent level of expertise in the use of Microsoft Office
- Technical and broad-spectrum knowledge and application of Category Development tools; (Future)
- Solid analytical skills with the ability to identify opportunities and problems; use information resources to construct actionable forecasts and solutions
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing to a widely diverse audience to ensure information is clearly presented
- Ability to support projects from concept to execution
- Ability to develop trusting business partnerships across cross-functional teams
- Strong team management and development skills
