Job Overview
We are hiring a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Manager (Senior Accountant) to join our Finance team in Manila. The role requires strong expertise in day-to-day accounting operations, tax compliance, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will manage accounting functions, support closing activities, maintain fixed asset records, ensure accurate bank reconciliations, and comply with country and global tax regulations.
Candidates with prior experience handling Dubai accounts will be highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Day-to-Day Accounting Operations
- Manage daily accounting entries in compliance with accounting standards.
- Process invoices, expense reports, and other financial transactions accurately.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
Management Closing Support
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
- Ensure accurate accruals, provisions, and adjustments during closing cycles.
Fixed Asset Register (FAR) Management
- Maintain and update the Fixed Asset Register, including capitalization, disposals, and depreciation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Bank Reconciliation
- Perform timely bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Ensure accuracy between bank statements and ledger balances.
Tax Compliance
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of all applicable tax returns.
- Maintain compliance with local and international tax regulations.
- Respond to tax notices and coordinate with relevant authorities when required.
Audit Support
- Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure smooth audit processes.
Financial Analysis & Reporting
- Assist in preparation of management reports and financial analysis.
- Identify opportunities for improving accounting and tax processes.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance or Accounting.
- CPA / CA certification is mandatory.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in finance and accounting roles.

Day-to-day accounting
Month-end & year-end closing
FAR management
Bank reconciliation
Tax compliance
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis).
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Philippines citizenship only (mandatory).
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Experience handling Dubai / Middle East accounts.
- Exposure to global tax regulations and compliance.
- Experience working in multinational or shared services environments.
