We currently have an exciting career opportunity in one of our global affiliates for a Manager to join our Managed Services Accountingand Outsourcing solution team in our Philippines office.

CohnReznick is a hybrid firm most of our professionals are located within a commutable distance to one of our offices. This position is considered remote which means it does not require job duties be performed within proximity of a CohnReznick office location. However, as a remote employee, you may be required to be present at a CohnReznick office with scheduled notice for client work, team meetings, or trainings.

Note: This is a full-time position and will require flexibility to work US eastern time zone hours

The Managed Services and Outsourcing solution team is a rapidly growing team, where we partner with our clients to perform accounting and technology services. Our goal is to leverage the best staff, cutting edge technology, and efficient processes to exceed our clients expectations. Some of our services include outsourced accounting, financial statement close assistance, virtual controller/CFO services, and accounting technology solution development.

YOUR ROLE.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

YOUR EXPERIENCE.

We are looking for a reliable accounting manager to join our team! As an Accounting Manager, you will be involved in providing project-based support to assist the client in preparing accrual based financial statements, cleaning up the books of accounts, and supervise, monitor and evaluate all day-to-day accounting activities for our management services clients (MSO).

  • Collaborating and working with the India Offshore team, U.S partners, managers/senior managers, and clients to influence strategy, balancing risks, and client expectations.
  • Preparing and/or assisting with the reconciliation of accounts (bank, credit card, prepaids, liabilities, payroll, etc.)
  • Calculating accruals, prepaid expenses, deferred revenues, etc.
  • Recording and/or reviewing the journal entries.
  • Preparation and/or assisting with the Balance Sheet reconciliation workpapers to support financial statements.
  • Preparing and/or assisting with the preparation of financial statements and client reports.
  • Ensuring our engagement team thoroughly understands our clients unique needs, ambitions, and expectations.
  • Building relationships with colleagues across multiple service lines to provide seamless integrated service
  • Managing performance and identifying opportunities to improve our services and processes.
  • Consulting clients on diverse business and finance transformation engagements including participating and managing consulting engagements with emphasis on CFO agenda-related topics.
  • Interact with clients daily and provide project status updates.
  • Performs thorough self-review of all work prior to submission for final review.
  • Develops proficiency in use of all technology necessary for performance and execution of work.
  • Ensures quality control procedures are being followed and executed.
  • Maintains positive client and colleague relationships.
  • Positively represents and actively promotes the Firm.
  • Proactively seeks knowledge, new tasks, and responsibilities.
  • Plan, implement and oversee overall accounting strategy.
  • Completing and presenting deliverables within designated timeframes
  • Oversee accounting daily operations.
  • Recruit and hire new employees
  • Train new employees.

YOUR EXPERIENCE.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Qualified CPA with at least 10 years of experience in leading an accounting/book-keeping team.
  • Proven ability to drive and lead corporate accounting processes and procedures such as cash management, AR/AP, month end close, payroll and benefits.
  • Strong U.S. GAAP experience along with hands on experience performing related to consolidations, GL close and financial reporting.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated execution of complex projects within time frames.
  • Project management experience.
  • Excellent mentorship and coaching ability with desire to develop self and others.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills, being highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, Project)
  • QBO, Yardi, NetSuite and Sage Intacct experience would be an added advantage.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills.
  • Action-oriented (self-starter, team player, detail-oriented).
  • Must be able to handle multiple priorities and effectively meet critical deadlines.
  • Significant knowledge of accounting and finance processes and functions.
  • Strong understanding of financial statement preparation and analysis.
