Management Accountant

The Management Accounting professional enables senior management to make informed business decisions by gathering, analyzing, and presenting financial information. This role involves overseeing forecasts, budgets, and risk analyses to drive business performance and support sustainable growth.

A key part of the role is leading business cases and financial analyses for strategic business decisions, including new product launches, supply chain and operational initiatives, and investments in financial structures and working capital. The professional also drives management reporting and dashboards to provide accurate, timely, and actionable insights, enabling agile decision-making across the organization.

While managing day-to-day financial initiatives, the role also leads strategic finance projects, collaborating with Divisions and cross-functional teams to identify growth and profit opportunities. The role supports the BU Controller in business unit financial planning, performance monitoring, and strategic initiatives.

The ideal candidate is analytically strong, numerically proficient, and possesses strategic thinking skills with a solid understanding of business operations. Knowledge of cost accounting, general accounting, and business functions such as sales, marketing, and operations is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive performance management using key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Create, analyze, and monitor forecasts; highlight risks and opportunities impacting business planning and decision-making.
• Gather, analyze, and present financial information for management review and strategic planning.
• Support budgeting and long-term business planning processes.
• Contribute to managing investment portfolios and tracking ROI.
• Act as a business partner to cross-functional teams, providing insights and analytics to support decisions.
• Facilitate new product development (NPD) by preparing costings and providing strategic pricing recommendations.
• Develop financial analyses or business cases to assess financial viability of innovations, manufacturing projects, or operational initiatives.
• Monitor spending against Trade Investment and Overhead budgets to ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Lead and mentor junior or lower-level finance personnel, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in reporting and analysis.
