Main Job Purpose
The Major Accounts Executive (MAE) is responsible for managing, developing, and driving growth across key customers in the Zamboanga territory. This role focuses on strengthening strategic partnerships with large retail accounts, distributors, wholesalers, and modern trade operators to achieve sales targets, optimize product distribution, and ensure excellent in-store execution. The MAE will lead customer negotiations, implement account strategies, and collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver sustainable business results.
What Will Your Main Responsibilities Be
Account Development & Management
- Manage and grow assigned major accounts in the Zamboanga region.
- Develop Annual Joint Business Plans (JBPs) to drive sales and visibility.
- Conduct regular business reviews to assess performance and address gaps.
Sales Performance & Target Achievement
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Monitor account performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
- Implement trade programs and merchandising initiatives.
Territory & Channel Execution
- Ensure product availability, assortment, and pricing.
- Lead in-store execution including planogram compliance and promotional rollouts.
- Coordinate with distributor teams for coverage and inventory health.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build strong relationships with key decision-makers and store operators.
- Address customer concerns and lead negotiations.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Coordinate with Trade Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance teams.
- Provide market insights for planning and forecasting.
Experiences & Qualifications
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- 23 years of experience in FMCG or related industries.
- Experience handling major/key accounts preferred.
- Strong communication, analytical, and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in MS Office tools; willing to travel.
