The Machine Technician under Maintenance and Engineering is responsible for ensuring operation of packaging and industrial equipment, performing corrective and preventive maintenance tasks on assigned equipment, food manufacturing machinery and ensure its operational use.

Responsibilities

• Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment through preventive maintenance on bottling,SUP/Sachet line equipment, processing equipment, and utilities equipment,
• Using mechanical and electrical knowledge in trouble shooting to maintain the manufacturing equipment systems,
• Follows diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications to troubleshoot malfunctions,
• Interacts with production group for support with setup repair items as needed,
• Observes appropriate safety measures to maintain and promote a safe work environment,
• Performs detailed analysis and recommend repair solutions when equipment is not performing up to mechanical or electrical design expectations,
• Perform other tasks as may be required.

Skills and Qualifications

• Candidate must have reached College level or itsequivalent with certificate from a vocational/technical school,
• Withat least 5 years of experiencein Maintenance & Engineering department; with related technical training preferably in afood manufacturing environment, production line machine,
• Skilled maintenance personnel are encouraged to apply with minimum experience as mentioned;
• With training on electrical wiring installation and troubleshooting, Pneumatics and Electro-pneumatics, and Advanced Industrial Motor Control,
• Must have excellent troubleshooting skills and must be well versed in troubleshooting industrial equipment,
• Must be willing to report to work as required under emergency conditions.
